Course Overview Expected Outcomes

This course presents a reinterpretation of Kierkegaard’s Works of Love through the author's own voice, shaped by over 30 years of faithfully living out the Christian commandment to “love your neighbor.” By examining love as the essence of truth, the course highlights the profound distinction between human love (eros) and Christian love (agape), and explores how true love, grounded in God, transforms human relationships and spiritual life. By the end of this course, learners will gain a renewed appreciation for Kierkegaard’s theology of love, recognize the enduring challenge of living according to the love of truth, and be inspired to walk their own path of spiritual growth as a journey toward loving God and others more fully.
